Were back on the trail, this time with our larger tires and new aluminum skid plate to protect the oil pan, transmission and transfer case.
We did 38 miles in the southeastern portion of Ocala National Forest accompanied by fellow Orlando Jeep Club member Luke Lukevic. It was a perfect day for it. There was a light rain the day before which kept the dust down. Wildlife sighting were limited to a tom turkey, hawk, and a rather rare (for us anyway) Sherman's Fox Squirrel. We did come across bear tracks that were pretty fresh.
It was nice to ride with just one other jeep. Our club rides were getting too big.
